Folk group formed by singer/songwriter
Dave Guard after he left
The Kingston Trio in
late 1961. The other members of the group were former Kingston Trio
bassist/arranger
David Buck Wheat,
Judy Henske, and
Cyrus Faryar. The group was in
existence for a little over a year, just long enough to record one
album for Capitol Records and contribute folk song performances to the
soundtrack of "How The West Was Won.".
