Simon Martin, a New York born actor raised in Sydney, Australia, and Los Angeles, is emerging as a dynamic talent in the
LA film scene. Classically trained in both Australia and the US, he has studied and performed with prestigious institutions including the Sydney Theatre Company’s ATYP, Michelle Danner’s Acting Studio, and The Actors Circle. Simon’s strong foundation in both comedy and drama earned him leading roles in stage productions, notably his performance as Dromio in The Comedy of Errors, which led to his selection for the
Kennedy Center’s Irene Ryan Scholarship program. In 2022, he transitioned into college and independent films, becoming a sought-after indie actor. Since then, he has appeared in over 40 filmed projects in leading and significant supporting
roles, earning multiple Best Leading and Supporting Actor awards across the independent festival circuit for his work in short films, including Unapparent Apparitions, MR Nightmare, and Through
the Lens, all of which have garnered significant recognition. In 2024, Simon secured a supporting role in the feature In
Memoriam, starring Marc Maron, which is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2026. Building on this momentum, he
joined SAG-AFTRA in 2025 after landing a co-starring role in the Adult Swim sketch comedy series The Terrors of Jordan Mendoza, scheduled to debut in September 2026. Most recently, he has taken on his first feature-length lead in Charlie Buster, directed by acclaimed Iranian filmmaker Farzan Deljou, slated for release in late 2026, where he shares the screen with legendary actor Michael Madsen, marking a major milestone
