Philip Günsch

Philip Günsch grew up in Lüneburg, Lower Saxony, and completed his Abitur at the Gymnasium Johanneum Lüneburg. He made his first leading appearance alongside Nicolette Krebitz and Lucas Gregorowicz in the ARD miniseries Die Augenzeugen, which premiered at the Filmfest Hamburg in 2023. Günsch gained wider recognition for his role as Jan in the film Wir für Immer, directed by Johannes Schmid, which premiered at the Filmfest München in 2024. For his performance, he was nominated for the German Acting Award 2025 in the category Best Newcomer, as well as for the 2026 Award of the German Television Academy (DAFfNE) for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Philip Günsch lives in Berlin and has been represented since 2025 by the renowned Berlin-based film agency players.
