- Natalie Ruiz-Pérez is a Puerto Rican documentary filmmaker, journalist, and Airtable guru. She graduated with honors from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism with a Master's in Documentary Journalism. Natalie also completed two bachelor's degrees, in Biology and Film Production, from Penn State University. In the TV industry, she has collaborated with Smithsonian Networks, Vox Media, and A+E Global Media.
Her first short documentary film, Tide and Time, was published with Inside Climate News on April 2025.
In May of 2025, she received the duPont/Judy F. Christon Award which honors the student documentary work that most encapsulates Judy's ideals of hard-hitting journalism, excellence in long-form narrative and visual storytelling, and historical perspective on issues concerning American culture and history.
