Josh Santos is quickly emerging as one of Vancouver's most exciting new voices in film music. He has scored over 40 films in under two years and is most known for his work on Hoorah 99, starring NYC rap icon Ja Rule. His work has screened at the American Black Film Fest, TINFF, VAFF, and Vancouver SketchFest among others. Santos draws from a unique breadth of musical influences combining an ARCT diploma in classical piano from the RCM, jazz study under Roland Rácz, SCGC mentorship under composer Lodewijk Vos, and electronic music production alongside Grammy-winning producer Ian Prince. He was also selected for VIFF's highly competitive CFA program and is the first Vancouver-based cohort member and youngest participant to date.
