Lin Chien-Ping is a Taiwanese film director and visual artist known for his poetic realist style and emotionally restrained visual language. His work explores silence, memory, distance, and the emotional textures of everyday life through light, space, time, and sound. In 2005, his short film Small Station won the Corto Cortissimo Award for Best Short Film, the festival’s highest honor for short films, at the 62nd Venice International Film Festival. Since 2022, Little Yellow Flower has garnered more than 50 international awards across five continents.
