At just 13 years old, Shamsa had a poem published despite being dyslexic. Years later, the same poem was recited in her short film Social Life, making the milestone even more emotional and meaningful.

In July 2023, Shamsa founded her own production company, Core Productions 1 Ltd. Within a year, she successfully produced, completed, and distributed four feature films: Sofia (based on her true life story), Pops, Swordplay, and Tapped.

As a first-time producer, she managed to take all four films through edits, festivals, and sales within one year of establishing her company-an achievement considered remarkable in the independent film industry.
