Saber Tatarcheh is an independent Iranian French writer, director and producer. His passion for cinema began during his teenage years when he joined the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, where he discovered the films of influential auteurs such as Abbas Kiarostami and Sohrab Shahid Saless.
He studied Theater at the University of Art and Architecture in Tehran and later continued his education in filmmaking through specialized professional training.
Over the course of his career, Saber has written and directed several independent films, including Hall No. 9, All Eyes on Me, Blogger, She Was a Star, and Profession: Activist, an international co-production with France. His films have been officially selected for approximately thirty international film festivals and have been released on various independent VOD platforms.
He is the founder of Tatarcheh Pictures, an independent production company dedicated to developing and producing socially engaged films in Iran and international co-productions.
As a filmmaker, Saber has attended the 70th and 71st Cannes Film Festival and the 80th Venice International Film Festival. Through his production company, he has also maintained an active presence at major international industry events, including the 74th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).
His next feature film, Profession: Worker, is in development.
