Biography

Champetier de Ribes was born on July 30, 1882 in Antony, Hauts-de-Seine, France. He died on March 6, 1947 in Paris, France.

Memeber of Parliament, minister, he voted in 1940 against the law giving full powers to Pétain. Résistant, he was French prosecutor at Nuremberg. Later elected to the new Senate now called Council, he died shortly being chosen at it,s first president.
