Tsutomu Ishigaki was a Japanese animator, who worked for the studio Kobayashi Production during the late 1970s. In 1980, Ishikagi established his own animation studio, Ishigaki Production. The studio specializes in providing background animation for other studios instead of producing or releasing their own works. Ishikagi and his studio associates have been credited for providing background animation for films such as "Lensman" (1984) and "Legend of the Gold of Babylon" (1985), television series such as "Magic Knight Rayearth" (1994-1995), and OVA entries of the "Sakura Wars" franchise. The studio has also provided background animation for a number of North American television series, such as "Inspector Gadget" (1983-1985), "Adventures of the Gummi Bears" (1985-1991), and "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers" (1989-1990).
