- James Townsend was born on December 15, 1980 in Salinas, California, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Sideline Secrets (2006), Throuple and Kissing Darkness (2014).
- He was involved in drama club throughout high school. He played the role of Kenickie in his high school rendition of the popular musical "Grease" as well as a dancing reindeer in the annual Christmas show.
- Originally wrote the screenplay for "Sideline Secrets" over the course of a week in the summer of 2002. Upon finishing, the screenplay was instantly picked up by an independent film studio outside of Seattle, WA. In the course of its production, he was asked to take on the lead role.
