Randy Sosin
Randy Sosin is a creative consultant and filmmaker who has worked in the creative industries for over 20 years. Growing up in Detroit, Michigan, Sosin spent his formative years as a musician (bassist & drummer) in the vibrant Detroit music scene. In the mid 80's Sosin transitioned to music management, procuring a record deal for Rhythm Corps with CBS Records in 1986. As a manager, he oversaw all aspects of creative and visuals for the group. Sosin quickly discovered his greatest passion was to develop brands and tell stories through powerful and captivating visuals.

Leaving management behind, Sosin took a job as an Executive Producer at cutting-edge production company The End in 1992. Sosin quickly gained an outstanding reputation in the world of music video, collaborating closely with directors to ensure they was able to achieve their vision, while being ever aware of the realities and restrictions of a given production, and delivering on-time and on-budget. In 1995, after producing over 100 videos, for artists such as Pink Floyd, Counting Crows, Ice Cube, Mariah Carey, and Salt N' Pepa, and directors such as Zack Snyder (300, Dawn Of The Dead), The Brothers Quay (Institute Benjamenta), and Marcus Raboy (Friday After Next), Sosin was hired by A&M Records to serve as their Video Commissioner. At A&M he oversaw music videos for artists such as Sting, Sheryl Crow, Soundgarden, Bryan Adams, Blues Traveler, and The Bee Gees, amongst many others.

Sosin left A&M in 2000 to join the venerable Interscope Records. There he was lucky enough to work alongside renowned creative visionaries Jimmy Iovine and Steve Berman. His first video for Interscope was the award-winning visual for "Stan" by Eminem, directed by Dr Dre and Philip Atwell. This was just the beginning. Fueled by passion and a knack for pushing creative boundaries, Sosin won over the confidence of his artists, winning back to back MTV Video Of The Year awards in 2002 and 2003 for "Lady Marmalade" (Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil Kim, Mya and Missy Elliot), and "Without Me" (Eminem), respectively. During his 8 years at Interscope, Sosin was responsible for the visual branding and music videos of artists such as Eminem, Dr Dre, 50 Cent, Marilyn Manson, Audioslave, Keane, Feist, Queens Of The Stone Age, Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, The Game and Busta Rhymes, among many others.

During his time at Interscope, Sosin also created and executive produced the Showtime series Interscope presents The Next Episode. The 6-part mini-series documented the lives of 10 young MC's in their search for prominence in the burgeoning world of Rap Music. The show was a critical hit, including an outstanding write up in The New York Times and a "Top 5 Shows of the Year" nod from Entertainment Weekly. Following the success of The Next Episode, Sosin began his foray into narrative filmmaking. The first film he produced during this time was Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic. The movie garnered rave reviews and accolades from critics at a number of recognized film festivals, including SXSW, Toronto and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. Shortly thereafter, it was picked up for distribution by Roadside Attractions. His second project was the film LIVE!, which he executive produced with Producer Chuck Roven, starring Eva Mendes, and directed by Oscar-winner Bill Guttentag.

In 2012, Sosin found himself with a unique opportunity. Pasquale Rotella, Founder & CEO of Insomniac Events, offered Sosin a position overseeing all Visual Content for the company. Purveyors of the largest music festival in North America, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Insomniac allowed Sosin to bring his depth of knowledge and experience in filmmaking and music video production to the world of Electronic Dance Music (EDM), cultivating and developing Insomniac's visual brand. During his time as Senior Vice President of Visual Content, he was in charge of conceptualizing and creating all Visual Content for Insomniac, as well as planning and executing all of Insomniac's Festival Trailers for the companies various events. On top of all of this, Sosin also planned and oversaw the annual Live Stream from EDC Vegas, in June of 2017 the EDC stream was broadcast on Red Bull TV and had over 10,000,000 unique online visitors over the entire weekend.

With over two decades of experience in Creative Development, Visual Branding, Storytelling, and Film Production, Randy Sosin has founded Pro1ific, a full-service Creative Consultancy collective that pushes creativity forward through curated content, brand collaboration, and an inventive approach, all at an impressively high output rate with an absolute adherence to quality. Deep, thorough knowledge of the past + an acute, evolved awareness of the present = innovative ideas for the future. Quantity + Quality = Pro1ific
