He was the first contestant in "Survivor" history to voluntarily quit
the game. At Tribal Council, teammate Andrew Savage revealed that
Taylor had explicitly asked to be voted out. After questions from host
Jeff Probst, the Morgan tribe agreed unanimously to allow Taylor to
quit the game. Instead of uttering the trademark "The tribe has spoken"
as he extinguished Taylor's torch, Probst instead said, "Per your
wishes, go home."
