Biography

Malcolm le Grice was born on May 15, 1940 in Plymouth, Devon, England, UK. He was a director and editor, known for After Manet, After Giorgione - Le Dejeuner sur l'Herbe or Fete Champetre (1975), Blind White Duration (1968) and Castle One (The Light Bulb Film) (1966). He was married to Judith Keast. He died on December 3, 2024 in the UK.

Founded the London Film-maker's Cooperative.

Studied painting at the Arts University Plymouth.

Introduced film to fine art students at Saint Martin's School of Art and the Goldsmiths College, London.

Studied at the Slade School of Art in London.
