MacKenzie Lee is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, where she got her start in local theatre. She is a theatre and film actress who graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Performance and minor in Creative Writing.
MacKenzie is dedicated to her craft. Passionate about studying text, bringing nuance and a natural humanity to her characters, and creating and maintaining relationships with other artists. While at Belmont she earned a record breaking total of 3 KCACTF performance nominations for her roles as Anita Politzer (36), Meg (Little Women), and The Photographer (Kodachrome).
Now MacKenzie has placed her focus on film and Television work. She has been a lead actress in Deathwoods (2026), Hell Is Inside (2024), and the upcoming Writhe (TBD). With each role she commands the screen and steals each moment.
