Biography

Theatre, film and television actor, as well as lecturer. Trained at the Acting School of the National Art Award Fernando Gonzalez. His first works in television were in TVN where he starred in emblematic teleseries such as Romané, Pampa Ilusión, El circo de las Montini and Los Pincheira, among many others. He also worked in CHV where he was part of the casts of Manuel Rodríguez, La doña, La sexóloga, Graduados and Buscando a Maria.

In theatre he has acted in plays such as Ardiente Paciencia, Fedra, El Hijo, Edipo, La tempestad, Romeo y Julieta, Atentados contra su vida, Eróstrato, La fiesta, Intrusión, El jardín de los cerezos, Sueño de una noche de verano, El Padre, among many others.

In film he had roles in B-Happy and El bosque de Karadima.

He has participated in the series Mary & Mike and Amor en Línea.

Since 2016 he has been a communication lecturer at the University of Talca.

Ricardo Fernández is a recognized Chilean actor with more than 20 years of experience in television, theater and film. Owner of a singular charisma, Ricardo captivates the camera in dramatic and comedy roles alike. His first acting steps began 23 years ago under the direction of the legendary Vicente Sabatini in the "golden era of Chilean TV series", with a memorable role in "ROMANÉ" (2000). He has also worked in successful fiction series such as "MARY & MIKE" (2018), by Julio Jorquera, and "EL BOSQUE DE KARADIMA" (2015), by Matías Lira. His acting talent has been recognized by the Critics, with the award for Best Actor granted by the Association of Entertainment Journalists of Chile.
