Sean Mackenzie is a double BAFTA winning film editor. He won the BAFTA Award for Editing Factual in 2004 and 2013, and was also nominated in 1997, 2012 and 2025.
He has edited a wide range of award winning work including films on Ken Russell, Queen Elizabeth II and David Attenborough, Grayson Perry, Tony Slattery, Paul Merson, Lupita Nyong'o, Nicky Haslam, the Royal Opera House, Dior, American Nomads and the Amish.
For Arena he cut The Private Dirk Bogarde (BAFTA and Broadcasting Press Guild Awards), The Life and Times of Count Luchino Visconti (International EMMY and Prix Italia Awards), The Many Lives of Richard Attenborough (BAFTA Editing Factual Award), and Francis Bacon's Arena (International EMMY Nomination).
He was inspired by the work of Ken Russell to become a film editor many years ago!
