Pierre Catherine-Buffet

Pierre is a french composer, arranger, pianist based in London. Coming from an eclectic background, his focus is now around music and cinema: after studying classical piano and music theory, then cinema at University, he turned into film composition and even directing. From 2023, he has multiplied major projects such as composing an orchestral cine-concert, winning the OST Challenge prize. In August 2023, he released his first professional studio EP Album orchestrated for 29 musicians and singers, mixing funk, jazz, classical and rock songs and instrumentals. Currently studying at the Royal College of Music for a Master of Composition for Screen with the Michael Champion scholarship, recent projects include scoring a silent film for live orchestral cine-concert; recording at Abbey Rd Studios; arranging orchestral pop-rock songs with singer-songwriter Luke Hasler; joining rock band "Overlord" as a keyboardist; performing at the Royal College of Music for an electronic music concert.
