Granddaughter of chilean actors Roberto Parada and María Maluenda. They are parents of his father, José Manuel Parada Maluenda, who was murdered under Augusto Pinochet military dictatorship in Chile, related to the "Case of the Slit Throats" (Caso Degollados) in 1985.

Daughter of María Estela Ortíz Rojas and chilean sociologist José Manuel Parada Maluenda. Her father was savagely murdered in 1985 under Augusto Pinochet's military dictatorship in Chile, as part of the "Case of the Slit Throats".

Lived in Barcelona, Spain, during 13 years (1992-2005), where she studied theatre and worked for various companies, including "La Fura dels Baus".
