Liisa started her career as an actress by studying in Los Angeles at Playhouse West and Theater of Arts in Hollywood. Prior to acting studies, she worked as a model. She has performed stand up comedy in some of the most well known comedy clubs in Hollywood and also was a member of sketch comedy groups. Her Film and TV credits as an actress include both comedy and drama/action series and films. She also has strong experience as a theater actress. Originally from Finland, she has worked in various countries in Europe as well as in the United States.

Besides having a career as an actress, Liisa is an accomplished writer. She specializes in writing spec TV pilots.

She loves to learn foreign languages and already speaks fluently Finnish(Native), Swedish and German, and conversational French, Russian and Spanish. "I want to be able to use all these languages in my work".
She studied acting at the Playhouse West in Los Angeles, following the footsteps of actors such as Ashley Judd, James Franco and Scott Caan.
She loves black licorice.
Her father worked as a prosecutor for the Finnish government and retired for medical reason when Liisa was 10 years old. Her mother died of cancer in 2003. Liisa has two younger sisters, three older step brothers and two older step sisters. She is an aunt of seven children and step aunt of many more.
She graduated Etu-Toolon High School, Helsinki, Finland with Magna Cum Laude. And as she didn't get into the only prestige Theater School in Finland, she moved to Hollywood instead. Years later she is a big supporter of Finnish film industry and hopes to make movies with her native language - for the first time.
