Growing up in Baroda, she got her first modeling assignment when she was in 10th standard when her neighbour's company was looking out for models for a calendar.
She went to Lakshmi studio for a photo-shoot where the noted producer director, Ramanand Sagar was auditioning for Alif Laila. He saw her and asked her to audition for Ganga's role which, out of curiosity, she did. She enjoyed getting into the skin of the character and forgetting herself. And that's how the acting bug got her!
Soon other opportunities opened up for her, including a few anchoring shows and tv series.

In 2000 she got married and she came to Mumbai. It was the perfect place to be in to pursue her dreams of becoming an actor professionally. But then her baby arrived soon and she had to take a break from acting. Now kids have grown up and now she has all the time in the world to pursue her dream.
So here she is...starting this journey all over once again.
