Biography

Leina Alejo (she/her) is an actor and senior at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts where she's training for a BFA in drama.

Leina is from Hampton Roads, Virginia, growing up in both Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. Her deep love for making art at an early age evolved from living room recitals to graduation from the Governor's School for the Arts in Norfolk, VA to her final year at UNCSA. She is drawn to stories that portray the truth of the human experience, ugly or beautiful.

When Leina isn't acting or creating, you can find her playing guitar, swimming shoulder-deep in the ocean, or tending to one of her hundreds of house plants.
