- Taylor Sanghyun Lee is a Director & Cinematographer based in NYC. Before filmmaking, he worked as a Software Engineer, developing mobile applications in the healthcare industry. He received his MFA from NYU Tisch Graduate Film, where he was the recipient of the Ang Lee Scholarship. He was selected for the Sundance Ignite Fellowship, the TIFF x CJ K-Story Fund, and the Gotham Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film.
His short film, Layover, starring Young Mazino, is streaming online as a Vimeo Staff Pick, and his upcoming short, Parkside East, is the recipient of the Spike Lee Production Grant. He was the recipient of the 2025 Volker Bahnemann Award for Outstanding Cinematography, presented by ARRI Rental.
