Oscar McNaught is an Australian filmmaker, writer, producer and director who works mainly in the horror, thriller and mystery genre. Oscar began making films at a young age and has continued to pursue his passion for storytelling leading him to study a Bachelors degree in Film and Television Production at JMC Academy in Brisbane Australia.

Oscar exhibits versatility with his projects, often serving in multiple key roles such as writer, producer or director on projects that blend horror, suspense and experimental storytelling. Oscar has written, directed and produced shorts including Blacking Out (2025), He Forgot (2024) and Later That Night (2021) and has worked on other shorts such as 520 (2025), Recollection (2025) and Immortal Writer (2026).
