Clare O'Neil is a prominent Australian politician, currently serving as a Cabinet Minister in the Albanese Labor Government. She has had a rapid rise through the political ranks, known for her intellect, policy focus, and direct communication style. She has been the Member of Parliament for the federal electorate of Hotham in Melbourne's south-east since 2013, representing the Australian Labor Party (ALP). She has been re-elected numerous times. At just 23 years old in 2004, she became the Mayor of the City of Greater Dandenong, making her the youngest female mayor in Australian history.
