Madison Mogen(2001-2022)
Madison Mogen was a college student at the University of Idaho, remembered for her warmth, creativity, and close friendships. Born and raised in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, she was the only child of her mother, who described her as her best friend. Known as "Maddie" to family and friends, she grew up with a deep love for animals, adventure, and spending time outdoors.
Mogen attended Lake City High School, where she made lasting friendships and built a reputation for being compassionate, fun-loving, and loyal. After graduating, she pursued a degree in marketing at the University of Idaho, where she became a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. Maddie was passionate about travel and photography, and she cherished her time with her longtime boyfriend and her tight-knit group of friends.
Her life was tragically cut short in November 2022, when she and three of her closest friends-Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin-were killed in an off-campus house near the university. Despite her passing at only 21 years old, Madison Mogen left behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love that continues to be celebrated by her family, friends, and the community.
