Biography

Álvaro Leivas is a film director and screenwriter from Valencia, Spain. He has directed films such as "Hair Thieves" and "Milonga de Espino", which have won accolades at festivals in over 25 countries and been screened on platforms such as Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime, as well as at Cinema Jove, the Toulouse International Contemporary Art Fair and the TLC Chinese Theatre in Hollywood among others. He has also worked in various departments on films such as "A Widow’s Game", "The Dinner", "The Key Game" and "You Are Not Me", and series such as "Breathless".
