Jacqueline Lucia DiMare is a Swedish-American actress, writer, director, and composer whose work is rooted in psychological depth and cross-cultural perspective.
Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, and raised in Britain by a Swedish writer and an American veteran-businessman, DiMare grew up between languages and disciplines. French and Swedish are her first languages; English became her chosen one through early immersion in classic cinema and theatre - a formative influence that shaped her understanding of performance as emotional truth rather than display.
She began performing at four and has since trained in Shakespeare and musical theatre. After relocating to the United States, she studied with the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles, completing the One-Year Conservatory before continuing advanced training at the Institute’s New York campus. She recently completed training in London with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
In New York, DiMare performed with Essence Theatre Studio as The Stallion in ‘Kholstomer: The History of the Horse’ and as Farrah in ‘Constellation of Omar Khayyam’, where critics noted her "mesmerizing" presence and emotional maturity. She later appeared at the Chain Theatre in the One Act Festival, leading the original play ‘On The Radio’, earning praise for her regal stillness and layered emotional arc.
Her directorial debut, ‘I Let You Go’, which she wrote, produced, directed, and starred in, received international festival recognition, including a nomination in Best Young Filmmaker. She composed the original score for her short film ‘Amber Rain’, her music described as haunting and emotionally resonant. She is currently developing multiple original projects across film and literature.
