Tiiu Loigu

Tiiu Loigu is a Los Angeles-based casting director, producer and unit stills photographer with more than fourteen years of experience in film and television. She serves as Head of Casting at Tiki Tane Pictures, where she leads casting strategy from development through production and collaborates closely with filmmakers to build cohesive, character-driven ensembles.

Loigu cast and served as executive producer and unit stills photographer on the feature film The Punishing, starring John Boyega and Cara Delevingne and directed by Chris Sparling, which she cast alongside Kate Plantin.

Her casting work also includes Long Shadows, directed by William Shockley and starring Dermot Mulroney, Jacqueline Bisset and Dominic Monaghan; Frank & Penelope directed by Sean Patrick Flanery; Love by Drowning; A Mermaid's Tale; You're Gonna Miss Me; and Hot Bath an' a Stiff Drink. She also served as casting director alongside Penny Perry on the Hallmark original film Home by Spring directed by Dwight H. Little and led Los Angeles casting for Haunting of the Queen Mary directed by Gary Shore.

With a foundation in acting, Loigu brings a strong understanding of performance, the audition process, and ensemble dynamics to her casting work. In addition to casting, she has produced several of the projects she has worked on, including Long Shadows, giving her a comprehensive perspective on both the creative and production sides of filmmaking.

A multi-hyphenate filmmaker, Loigu has also worked as a unit stills photographer for more than fourteen years and has served as a costume designer on select projects. She values being a woman in film and enjoys collaborating with fellow creatives to help bring a story to life.
