Ezra Woods is a florist, perfumer, screenwriter, and former fashion stylist for celebrities. Woods grew up in Los Angeles as the son of high-end fashion designer/florist George Woods and third-generation florist Evonne Woods, who own the elite floral design company "The Woods" and, in the 80s, owned and operated the trendy Melrose Ave fashion boutique Azar-Woods, where George designed outfits for numerous celebrities including Bette Midler, Teri Garr, and Olivia Harrison. Ezra Woods started his career as a fashion stylist, crafting red carpet looks for stars like his friend, Jonah Hill. In 2006, Ezra met and befriended artist and filmmaker Alia Raza. The two bonded over their shared love of flowers and scents and threw a dance party together called Indole. In 2013, they reconnected and co-created the luxury perfume company Régime des Fleurs. In 2019, Woods and his now-husband, architectural designer Michael Woodcock, co-founded the floral design company Pretend Plants & Flowers, which has created floral arrangements for Chloë Sevigny’s wedding, and floral props for Kim Kardashian’s Skims campaign. In 2023, Woods added screenwriter to his resume, becoming writing partners with longtime friend and client Jonah Hill. The pair co-wrote and produced the Apple TV original movie Outcome (2026), starring Keanu Reeves, and Cut Off, starring Hill and Kristen Wiig, which has been deemed "unreleasable" by its studio Warner Bros. Both films were directed by Hill.
