Born and raised with roots in both Delhi and Amritsar, Diwanshu Gambhir is a versatile Indian actor currently residing in Mumbai. Fluent in Hindi, English, and Punjabi, he brings a rich cultural perspective to his performances across theatre, film, digital series, and commercials. Diwanshu made his cinematic debut in Rajkumar Hirani's 2023 film Dunki-a landmark moment in his screen career. Sharing the frame with Shah Rukh Khan, he played a supporting role that brought him into the spotlight. The film, which explored themes of immigration and identity with Hirani's signature emotional depth and social commentary, gave Diwanshu the opportunity to work closely with a top-tier cast and crew, and showcase his ability to bring sincerity and nuance to a high-profile project. His performance was noted for its groundedness and natural presence, setting the stage for future roles in mainstream cinema.Dunki is now available for streaming on Netflix. Diwanshu's acting career is grounded in a strong foundation of theatre. He trained as a repertory actor at the prestigious LTG Repertory in Mandi House, Delhi (2019-2020), following six years of work in the Delhi and Mumbai theatre circuit. His stage experience spans classical mythology, Parsi theatre, and period dramas, including three years with the Ratnakar Dramatic Art Society.

He is working on several upcoming projects, including an undisclosed film, the details of which are being kept confidential for the time being.

He has received formal vocal training and spent two years as a dubbing artist in Mumbai, lending his voice in Hindi, Punjabi, and English.

In digital media, Diwanshu has held lead and supporting roles in several web series, including Hostel Daze (TVF), Aafat (MX Player) and Tution Ke Baad (Alright). He also co-wrote and acted in the upcoming untitled short film and appeared in Hippodrome (Six Sigma Films).

His commercial work includes high-profile campaigns for brands such as Mstock Mirae Asset, BGMI, SRMB Steel, Apollo Pharmacy, HP India, Star Sports (IPL), Set Wet, OLA Bike, and more.

Committed to continuous growth, he completed an action training workshop with acclaimed action director Shyam Kaushal, further expanding his performance skill set.

In addition to his acting, Diwanshu has also honed his musical skills. He began his singing training during his theatre days and continues to explore his talent in music.
