Tori Dawn Thompson was born on October 25, 1993 in Santa Maria, California to parents Tamela and Tracy Thompson. At a very young age, four to be exact, Tori started grabbing attention because of her singing. People were always coming up to her parents and telling them that their daughter should be in the entertainment business. Tori's first performance was in her church pageant in Santa Maria, in which she sang "Happy Birthday Jesus". The audience was sold! At only four years old Tori knew this is what she wanted to do. From then on, Tori and her older sister Taylor would perform at festivals, pageants, parties, and anything else that would get them noticed. It was then that the Thompson sisters got their big break. In May 2003, Tori and her sister Taylor were given the opportunity to make their dreams come true. They planned to audition for American Juniors, which would ultimately land them spots in a real music group! Through the show, both Tori and Taylor Thompson landed spots in the American Juniors group. Tori's sister Taylor was chosen first by viewers, the next week, Tori was voted in. Chauncey Matthews, Lucy Hale, and Danielle White then followed, completing the group. The American Juniors group just released their first single "One Step Closer" and their debut album is due out this winter.

Well it&#39;s hard sometimes because I am only 11, and they sometimes want me to act like I&#39;m 21 or something and it gets hard. You really have to love doing this.

Yes! I want to go solo! when I first found out that this A.J. thing was a group I was so mad! But it turned out okay, cause I have my sister in it! I have always wanted to be a solo artist, but I wouldn&#39;t mind doing a duet with Tay either. But I love the group now!

Well, I found out because I was watching American Idol and the commercial came on for the Juniors and I was Like &quot;We have to do it mom!&quot; So I took down all the info, we went to the audition, and here we are.
