Monica Canducci

Monica Canducci is a Renaissance woman of the present times: a performer, storyteller, and movement artist who blends theatre, dance, music, and body-mind integration to create transformative experiences. A lifelong journey through the arts, science, and spirituality inspires her work. Known as an "Enlightening Enter-Trainer", she brings clarity and awareness to her teaching and creative work, guided by the belief that humor helps us learn more easily.

Also called "The Dancing Fairy", Monica brings lightness and fluidity to her performances, helping audiences and fellow artists connect with the deeper rhythm of life.

Born in Italy and based in Canada since 2012, Monica has danced, acted, and sung across Italy, Canada, and beyond. Her solo shows, "The Treasure Chest" and "The Faerie Code", explore themes of myth, movement, and transformation. Whether playing Ariel in "The Tempest" or embodying the storyteller and story-dancer in "The Faerie Code", she weaves presence, voice, and motion into living, soulful art.

Highlights of Her Artistic Journey:

• Acting & Theatre: Classical and experimental works, including Shakespeare and devised theatre.

• Movement & Dance: Contemporary, Butoh, and Burlesque, infused with deep body awareness and a specialty in dance improvisation.

• Vocal & Storytelling: From ensemble singing to solo narration, shaping words and sound into atmosphere and emotion.

• Film & Television: Roles in Troppo Sole and multiple collaborations in various productions, including live broadcasts.

Beyond Performance:

Monica is also a movement coach and trainer, helping actors, dancers, and singers deepen their embodiment and expand their expressive range. Her background in Structural Integration, somatic education, and movement studies allows her to guide performers in unlocking their full artistic potential. She is also the author of books on self-development and healing, a visual artist, and the creator of the method "Move In Mind," based on motor imagery to enhance performance.
