Biography

Pierre-Mathieu Fortin is Montreal-based producer and content producer in the Canadian media landscape. His last production, L'Arene, was selected for numerous awards and winning in France's LaRochelle' Fiction Festival. PM is a maverick storytelling-oriented producer, playing on all fields should they be film, TV or interactive media. Among his new projects as a talent curator is a Netflix-backed TalentLab for up and coming filmmakers in Canada.

As the creative head of original content for digital services at Radio-Canada (the French-language arm of the national Canadian Broadcasting Corporation), he developed multiple award-winning digital projects and helped bolster the national broadcasters new OTT, TOU.TV. As the executive creative producer for ad-agency SIDLEE, he is responsible for developing and producing original and branded content, with a special focus on international markets. He is responsible for producing and developing LIBTV, a series of short form content for Videotron's online platforms.

As an independent consultant he curated the 4-day professional conferences alongside the Rendez-Vous du Cinema Quebecois, a french-Canadian Film festival. He collaborates with URBANIA media as Digital Producer for interactive and digital series and Attraction Images as scripted development producer. Throughout his career, Pierre-Mathieu Fortin has collected various awards and accolades, nominations at South by Southwest, from several Prix Gémeaux and NUMIX in Québec, a Silver Medal at the New York Film and Television awards, a Rockies in Banff and nominations at the International Emmy Awards and South By Southwest.
