Aron Ludikhuijze - Director
Screenwriter and director Aron Ludikhuijze aims to create emotionally immersive stories and innovative visuals through his films. After producing numerous independent short films through his production company and earning his BA degree in Literary Studies from Utrecht University, Ludikhuijze continued his career by exploring complex narrative structures. In 2020, he made the short film Het Laatste Vuurwerk, in which he intertwines reality and flashbacks to explore themes such as the inability to let go of the past. During his studies, Aron developed the web series The Impossible Shot (Dutch: Het Onmogelijke Shot), in which he recreated iconic Hollywood scenes with limited resources and collaborated with well-known actors. The series expanded his network within the film industry and led to directing opportunities for TV series such as Broodje Aap (NPO Zapp and KRO-NCRV) and short films including Kerst met Rik (2024) and Buitenspel (in post-production).
Through his production company, AFTM productions, he has produced several short films and commercial projects. Additionally, he directed and produced three series for Omroep Zeeland. His extensive experience as a writer-director makes him a versatile filmmaker who always strives to tell emotionally complex and socially relevant stories.
