  • Sue Zarco Kramer is Latina writer, director and producer. A graduate of UCLA Film School and winner of the coveted Jim Morrison Award for Outstanding Direction and Writing.

    In 2023/24 Kramer's film "SWIPE NYC" starring Lisa Edelstein, Richard Schiff and Bridget Moynahan swept the film festival awards circuit winning best film, best comedy and best pilot in numerous festivals. The film follows the semi-autobiographic life of a recent divorcee who jumps into the hilarious, vulnerable world of online dating. Kramer has written for almost every Hollywood studio and made her feature directorial debut with her original feature, "Gray Matters" a romantic comedy with a modern twist. "The movie opens with a rhapsodic and perfectly executed ballroom dance sequence, which harks back to the high spirits of Astaire & Rogers." Alexander Payne executive produced the film starring Heather Graham, Tom Cavanagh, Alan Cumming, Sissy Spacek, Bridget Moynahan, and Molly Shannon. "Gray Matters" not only closed the Santa Barbara Film Festival but was chosen as the Spotlight Film of The Hamptons Film Festival and is now streaming on Amazon and Peacock.

    Sue has partnered with top talent on several of her original screenplays, including "London in June" for Nancy Meyers, "Walking Backwards" for Julia Roberts and "Bullies" for Amy Baer's Landline Pictures. Sue is prepping her feature "The Locals" and developing her original series "Chapter Dos" with Jessica Alba's Lady Metal Productions.

    Sue's on-going activism work includes her highly watched YOUVOTE PSA and her "BE DOPE VOTE" campaign both seen by over 10 million viewers starring Bradley Cooper, Billy Porter, A$AP Ferg, Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively, Susan Sarandon and Samuel Jackson.
