Maryjo Carlson

I am a 70 year young actress. I retired 2 years ago and came from a 30 year community theatre background. Once I retired I started doing extra work and absolutely love it. I've done Chicago pd, justified primeval, the bear, 4400, night sky just to name a few. I have also done several student films including "signs", "silkwood Arcadia", and The seahorse with a speaking role as the therapist. I did a comedic turn as a grandmother at wrestling marriage entitled "wedding ring". I just finished a quirky short entitled "larry" which I played a featured office worker and featured store customer. The first feature film I did with line is entitled "Soldier from Birth" premiering April 2023. I love learning everything I can about the craft. Feels like I'm starting a whole new career.
