Mini bio

  • Morgan Pehme is an award-winning director, writer and producer, best known for the Netflix Original documentary Get Me Roger Stone (2017).

He also co-directed, wrote and produced "Nothing Sacred", a fantasy horror film starring William Sadler, Thierry Lhermitte, Philippe Nahon, Eric Godon, Debbie Rochon, Naama Kates and Alan Barnes Netherton.

Previously, Pehme co-wrote and produced the movie "Nightmare", a psychological thriller which was awarded the jury prize for Best Screenplay at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas. The film was released in the United States by IFC Films.

The first film Pehme produced was "Exist", directed by Esther Bell, which The New York Times hailed as "an antidote to the whimsy and solipsism endemic to much of what passes for independent film making."

In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Pehme is also an accomplished journalist and commentator on television and radio. He serves as an on-camera political analyst for PIX11 in New York City and the co-host of Effective Radio on AM970.

As a child, he was featured in the documentary "Chess Kids" and portrayed as the character "Morgan" in the film "Searching for Bobby Fischer".
