American actor Lauren Griffith is based in Los Angeles, CA, but was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. In her childhood and adolescence, she underwent surgeries which led her to find solace and love in television and film as well as through painting. Finding herself and her scars mostly unrepresented in media, she formed a strong desire to follow her passion for acting and be the person that someone like her could look to and know they are not alone. Pursuing this desire she took acting classes and performed in plays, while in school.
Though her passion and love for acting was strong, she took time to obtain her Bachelor's in Political Science at the University of Maryland College Park and take classes in Chemistry at Grossmont College. During this time, Lauren was in numerous student films and in a VR commercial for Capital One and Cabela's.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Lauren has acted, directed and written short films. She is continuing to perfect her craft and remain inspired through an Acting for Camera class under renowned actor/coach BoJesse Christopher.
