Aasif Ibrahim is an Indian filmmaker, storyteller, and digital creator based in Chennai. He is also an internationally featured social media strategist, known for his innovative approach to short-form content and narrative-driven digital campaigns.
Aasif began his creative journey as a short-form content creator before transitioning into filmmaking, where he developed and directed a range of projects including short films, branded videos, and narrative digital pieces. His expertise in social media strategy earned him international recognition, with a feature as a social media specialist in a CNA News documentary.
His notable works include the viral YouTube short "Kadhale Kadhale", the short film "Unara Kanal", and multiple high-impact digital campaigns. Aasif has served as promo director and social media lead for major OTT releases such as ZEE5’s Thalaimai Seyalagam, Demonte Colony 2, Aindham Vedham, and Brother. He also worked as the solo promo director for Aha’s Romeo, and contributed to JioCinema/Hotstar’s Cook With Comali Season 6. Additionally, he has directed special launch content, including the title reveal for Dawn Pictures’ Idhayam Murali.
