Biography

BeauDamian (Beau D. Schaepman) is a Dutch composer, orchestrator, arranger, and sound designer based in Tokyo, Japan. Working across anime, film, television, and video games, he is known for blending cinematic orchestration with modern electronic production.

His recent credits include music for Teamfight Tactics, Riot Games' acclaimed strategy title set within the League of Legends universe, as well as the crossover project Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves × Street Fighter. He has contributed to internationally recognized anime productions including Tower of God Season 2, Blue Box, and official Pokémon projects such as Pokémon: Paldean Winds and Pokémon Scarlet & Violet × Shiny Rayquaza.

Based in Tokyo, BeauDamian works extensively within Japan's entertainment industry, contributing to productions for major broadcasters including TBS, MBS, NHK, and TV Asahi. His credits include Eye Love You, Hatsukoi Dogs, Laughing Matryoshka, Borderless, and the feature film My Love Story with Yamada-kun: Before × After. He has also composed music for international advertising campaigns for brands including Sony, Shiseido, Nescafé, and LUX.

In addition to his work as a composer, BeauDamian is active as an orchestrator, arranger, and sound designer, collaborating with renowned composers on major film, television, game, and concert productions, including projects related to Made in Abyss.

Before transitioning into media composition, he built an international career as a DJ and electronic music producer, performing at prominent events and venues such as SXSW, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Bootshaus, and WOMB. He later earned a Master of Music in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games from Berklee College of Music in 2022.

Prior to his music career, BeauDamian was a semi-professional football player in the Netherlands and represented his country at youth international level.
