Oben K. Djeudo, a dynamic Cameroonian actor, Voice Actor, Translator, screenwriter, and poet, has carved a notable niche in the creative arts with over a decade of filmmaking experience. His journey began at the University of Yaoundé I, where he studied Theater, Cinema, and Television. Under the expert guidance of Tatiana Matip, a revered Cameroonian actress and screenwriter, Oben honed his skills from 2016 to 2020. This mentorship remains a cornerstone of his career.
Oben's acting portfolio is diverse, featuring a wide range of performances in numerous productions including Aunty Maria, Lagos Compound, Backfired Game, Truth Be Told, Love Spice, To Love and Kabash, and the French-language film Le Voisin. Despite early setbacks in producing personal short films, Oben's perseverance bore fruit in 2021 with the debut of his web series, Pretty Liars, which premiered on YouTube.
Oben has collaborated with African and European clients as a freelance content writer and storyteller. His specialties include creative writing-Screenwriting, poetry performance, and brand storytelling. His work includes rewriting screenplays for Nigeria's Denziot Productions and co-writing scripts with Swedish Director Homayoon Mobaraki.
Since 2022, Oben has expanded his expertise to script coverage, reading, and script doctoring, providing consultations on over 16 screenplays, many of which have either been produced or greenlit for production. He has equally Co-produced and delivered half a dozen French feature films in Lagos, Nigeria for Denziot with Denziot Productions in 2024. The same year, he was hired as Associate Producer for a Mnet Original Yoruba series and subsequently production manager for a two-part Mnet Original film for African Magic Yoruba and African Magic Showcase respectively.
Beyond Film, Oben is deeply passionate about community building and the arts. He has consistently shown commitment to giving back through volunteering at art-related events. Notably, he has served twice as a Programmes Curatorial Assistant at the +234 Art Fair, supporting the development and execution of one of Nigeria's leading art festivals.
Oben's unwavering passion for film and storytelling has propelled him to the role of Studio Executive at Denziot Productions. In this capacity, he oversees a significant portion of the film process, demonstrating his exceptional skills and dedication. Oben K.
