Tristan Hissong is an actor who puts his heart and soul into each character and role he is assigned and plays. He dedicates himself to represent characters to their full life, spending time analyzing their psychology and learning their point of view. Tristan Hissong prides himself in being able to develop the details of each of his roles, from body language, to facial expressions, to tone of voice, and more.
Raised in both New Mexico and California, Tristan Hissong has always had a creative flair to him. Poetry, acting, and the arts have always been something incredibly important to him and being an actor is a true passion come to life. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Psychology which he feels helps him develop the exact headspace that each of the characters he portrays holds. While still young in his career as an actor, he has been a part of independent film successes such as "Muse" (2025; director: Genel Mejia) and "The Redemption of Faust" (2026; director: Genel Mejia). Both of these have won several awards as well as nominations. He also makes his own films in his spare time and posts them on his YouTube account. While Tristan is open to directing and writing, his biggest passion is to act, thus, he creates his own films to help showcase his range as an actor and further develop his craft and hone his skills. His biggest personal project to date is the film, "What is Yours Belongs to Me" which can be found on YouTube and has managed to win 4 awards so far, 2 of which were awarded to Tristan for 'Best Actor'. In this specific title, Tristan tasked himself to represent 13 different characters, each with their own motivations, back stories, and personalities. Along these projects, Tristan Hissong has also been a part of the short films, "The Test" (2022; Director: Chris Price) and "Guilt" (2022; Director: Cynthia Davidson).
In his own words, Tristan Hissong connects to his craft with the following statement: "My mission is to be an actor who embodies the characters and roles they land with authenticity and realism. This is an art demanding passion, dedication, and hard work. An art which requires powers of not only observation, but also commitment to showcasing the full range of the human experience and the journey that stories provide. To translate ideas from paper to screen is the job of a performer. To do this seamlessly is the commitment of the actor. These descriptions are part of the craft I offer. I am an actor ready and willing to dedicate myself to roles so that these characters may appear on screen in their entirety."
