- Gil is a twenty year veteran of the film industry with roots in South America and the Middle East. He is the editor of several films including "TransMilitary", which won the Audience Award at the SXSW Film Festival, "Aggie", which was selected for the Sundance Film Festival and "Minted" which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and was acquired by Netflix. He also edited the Emmy-nominated film, "Love to the Max" which was acquired by The New Yorker and was featured in the Academy Awards Screening Room. Most recently, he was a member of the editing team on Bradley Cooper's "Is This Thing On", starring Laura Dern and Will Arnett.
In addition, Gil is an award-winning screenwriter who's work has gained accolades at the Screenwriter's Colony, the Nicholl Fellowship, the Bluecat Competition and the Stowe Screenwriting Lab among others. His screenplay, "The Delivery", won the Silver prize at the Page Awards and is in the top 1% of Coverfly's rankings. His horror screenplay, "Kyra", beat out 1300 other screenplays to garner a finalist nod at Page as well.
