Biography

Chad McCord is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist, actor, director, writer, and acting coach with over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry. A graduate of the University of Oregon (BA, Acting, Art & Education), he founded Chad McCord Studio in 2003, where he coaches established actors working across film, television, and theater. Drawing on decades of creative and professional experience, his directing credits include the award-winning short films Stay With Me and FYD. Acting credits include The Offer (Paramount+), Paradise (Hulu), The Young and the Restless, and Beverly Hills, 90210. He is currently in development on Starlet, a psychological thriller series and the first installment of an original seven-season LGBTQIA+ streaming universe. That same depth of practice inspired the creation of T.O.P. (Technical, Organic, Performance), a proprietary acting framework built over decades of professional teaching, currently being developed into a full-length book for publication. Extending his creativity beyond performance and the classroom, Chad works in large-scale mixed-media abstraction, with his work exhibited in galleries throughout Los Angeles.
