- And art is always like an antenna. And I think things happen first in the art then later in the world. And the movie is a witness and it feels as if I'm writing part of something. I think it's a movie, a document of an instant... and I don't know if matters all that much. Just as it isn't important for the work to remain. That's the heart of the matter. The work is done, it's concluded.
- Here in New York, I don't identify myself with anything. I'm not Hispanic, I'm not black but I'm not white either. I'm not a queer, I'm very sure of my masculinity. It's silly, it feels like that story of "Who am I?" I have no idea, I really don't. I don't know what's my identity.
