Layne Harper is a Tampa-based actor of Trinidadian and American heritage, best known for his lead role in Hulu's Diddy on Trial: As It Happened. His credits include feature films I Do, Heavy Is The Head, and DOE, a lead role in Universal Studios' Super Bowl LX commercial, work with Disney, and major brand campaigns for Nike, Chase Bank, and Publix. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Layne grew up as an army brat, spending seven formative years in Germany before being raised between Brooklyn and the Bronx, New York. That global upbringing fuels the rich, authentic perspective and commanding presence he brings to every role. He is a nationally and internationally sought talent, working comfortably across markets domestically and abroad. A true multi-hyphenate, Layne is also an accomplished photographer spanning commercial, portrait, editorial, and fashion, a musician, writer, and film director who continuously expands his creative footprint both in front of and behind the camera. He resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife and three children.
