Biography

Aram Garriga is a director, writer, producer and musician born in Barcelona in 1979. He has directed 3 documentary features: "An American Satan" (2019), Critics Choice Award and Best Director at Sant Cugat Fantastic IFF 2020; "American Jesus" (2013), Audience Award at Berlin Spanische Film Festival 2014, Netflix USA, Vutopia Time-Warner, Hulu, Amazon. And "Introspective" (2007), Best International Music Documentary at the New York IIFVF 2008.

Aram's works as a producer in the fields of documentary and fiction include "Els ulls s'aturen de créixer" (winner of the In-Èdit Festival 2018), "Callback" (winner of the Biznaga de Oro at Festival de Málaga Festival 2016) and "The Heimlich Maneuver" (2014). Aram has edited and color-graded numerous feature films, directed music videos for legendary bands like Tortoise (USA), commercials and corporate videos, events and ceremonies, and recorded, mixed and produced several albums and soundtracks with his cinematic noise-rock band, Erisian.
