Biography

Peter Facer's adventurous spirit brought him from Yorkshire, England to the United States. He made his mark during the music video revolution of the 1980s, producing the popular music video shows Video One and Video Beat. The shows helped to enhance the careers of many eighties pop icons including a-ha, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Culture Club, Wham! Tears For Fears, Run-D.M.C. and Michael Jackson.

Peter Facer Productions (PFP) creates and produces across the entertainment and digital spectrum. Creating visual and compelling content is our expertise. Interviews, segments, behind-the-scenes and EPKs. Dynamic storytelling from concept to final edit. We have been fortunate to work with many of the top studios and television and cable networks. Including FX, CMT, SPEED, NBC, TBS, FOX, AMC, HBO, Discovery, New Line Home Entertainment and EA Sports. Plus, the artists Elton John (and his Elton John Aids Foundation) and Yanni. Peter Facer was a key member of the production team that launched E! Entertainment Television. He produced the first segment to appear on E!, a profile about Sir Paul McCartney. Facer also co-created and produced the popular "Behind The Scenes" series for the network. He also created and produced one-hour documentary specials for E! on a variety of film, music and entertainment themes including The Lion King, Maverick, Melrose Place and Elton John.

Peter also wrote and directed interviews for New Line Home Entertainment's Academy Award winning "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" Extended Edition DVD. He is a member of BAFTA.
