Biography

Alex Champion de Crespigny is an Australian-American actor based in New York. Known for Rebel Wilson’s The Deb, which premiered at TIFF. He can also be seen in Good Cop / Bad Cop, now streaming on Netflix, Heartbreak High and his most recent project, He Had It Coming was released in 2025 on Stan Australia.

Alex trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and has worked with directors including Rebel Wilson, Gracie Otto, Rachel Ward and Jub Clerc. Before acting, he pursued rugby and journalism, a background that informs his grounded and physical approach to performance.
